Standard EN50561-1 PLT devices listed as a harmonised standard for the EMC Directive and published in
the Official Journal of the European Union on Tuesday. Extract from the OJ is shown below.
"Cenelec EN 50561-1:2013
Power line communication apparatus used in low-voltage installations — Radio disturbance characteristics — Limits and methods of measurement — Part 1: Apparatus for in-home use. Supersedes EN 55022:2010+ EN 55032:2012.
The new (or amended) standard has the same scope as the superseded standard. The superseded standard ceases to give presumption of conformity with the essential or other requirements of the relevant Union legislation."
Note that Part 2 and Part 3 are being drafted these may extend the power used for access and the frequency range to above HF

Amateurs need to remain active in monitoring these standards to avoid the permitted levels being raised further and to ensure that notching is implemented in all bands licensed for amateur use.
