VDSL....or not?

    Ah. I meant to infer that if I approached someones house with a glorified AM radio that they might find it a little strange.......

    Sorry to drag this thread out of the ditch, but I can now confirm this has been resolved and I can now hear signals on the lower bands ( <18 MHZ given the sunspots etc).

    Early last week, I turned my radio on as usual, then went straight upstairs to check connections etc as this can't be right............

    Later on in that week, I had Fibre to the Premises (FTTP) broadband installed.........that caused me to look at the pole and I noticed that I wasn't the first one to get it. I can now confirm that my "loop and scanner" did correctly identify the 'RF Offending property' a.k.a the prime suspect. (probably why they ordered FTTP without knowing why).

    My VDSL is about to go dead and things are looking up in this urban QRM environment.
